What do I like about being a veterinary nurse:
On a regular basis we have owners coming in with concerns about their pets. These problems can range from basic health care advice to something more severe that will need emergency surgery. With my knowledge and training I can advise these owners as to what to do and hopefully help them overcome these concerns. I love the feeling when an animal’s life has been saved and know that I have helped them through both surgery and recovery.
Dislikes:
People that don’t treat their animals the way they should be treated. It upsets me when some animals come in to the clinic and it is obvious that the owners don’t care for their well being, especially if the animal is so sick and in pain and they haven’t done anything to try and help them. I also dislike it when someone comes in with a concern regarding their pet and they choose to ignore the information you have given them.
